Casa Padic is a family-owned winery located in the village of Catemu, in Chile’s Aconcagua Valley.
The project was founded in 2023 by entrepreneur Patricio Collao (1961–2024), who dreamed of planting his own vineyards and making wines that faithfully reflect the land where he grew up.
The story began with the acquisition of a 9.5-hectare estate in the La Colonia sector. Of this, 7.5 hectares were dedicated to vineyard planting. The remaining land is home to an imposing, timeworn country house—silent witness to a prosperous agricultural past linked to tobacco cultivation in the area.
Today, the project is led by his sons, Patricio and Diego, who have chosen to carry forward the family legacy. Alongside vineyard development, they have begun restoring the house, its gardens, and surroundings, envisioning a future winery, tasting room, and visitor center.
Casa Padic aims to position itself as an emerging winery in the Aconcagua Valley, combining a strong sense of place, heritage, and an innovative wine tourism project from a small village with a remarkable story to tell.
